Community Members,

On March 19, 2020 Governor Newsom issued executive order N-33-20 directing all residents immediately to heed current state public health directives to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors as the state public health officer may designate as critical to protect health and well-being of all Californians.

Under this order, a list of “essential critical infrastructure workers” was issued including, but not limited to, ‘workers who support the construction, operation, inspection, and maintenance of construction sites and construction projects’ (including housing construction).

As governmental agencies continue to address the Coronavirus, also referred to as COVID-19, the Development Services Departments (Building, Planning, Economic Development / Community Development) are firmly committed to the health and safety of its employees, members of the public, and the development community.

We have increased our protocols in sanitizing surfaces as well as limiting meetings. As new information becomes available, we are committed to taking additional precautionary measures..
